Some patterns I found.

Here are some patterns I found recently at an op-shop. I have already used the middle pattern to make a frock coat for a Mary Poppins costume.

Some excellence for your Tuesday evening.

Cats in clothes. They're cats! Wearing clothes! Painted adorably!

One tiny hand (http://onetinyhand.com/). For some absurd reason I find this just hilarious. Please tell me I'm not the only one.

The 60 second beret

Berets are the best answer to a bad hair day, because I have short hair I can tuck most of it up into a beret and only style the front bits. In winter I live in my beret and headscarf so today I am showing you haw to make the quickest hair hider you have ever seen.

What you will need:
Some pretty felt.

What to do:
Get a dinner plate and use it to trace two circles on the felt this will give you the perfect size for a dashing head-piece. Cut them out.

sew the circles together close to the edge.
cut a hole in one layer big enough for your head.
place on you're head at a jaunty angle and voilà!

Slick on some cherry lip-gloss and add some vintage curls and your ready to meet meet charming strangers and be the envy of old rivals.

A short note on a long absence.

Dear lovely people who sometimes visit this blog,

If you come here regularly you will have notices that I have not been posting regularly. This is because I have been on prac for my education studies and have had no time to update which is awfully sad-making. I have still been sewing and doing somewhat interesting things I have just been neglecting to take photos and blog about it. I promise this is all about to change as I now find myself with an incredible amount of time on my hands. So look forward to lots more over the next week.

Till next time
Adiós.
